THE CARE BEHIND THE REPORT
Your car-care checklist before leaving Cyprus
Prepare your parking, maintenance, keys, travel dates and customer account for time away from your car in Cyprus.

Check the maintenance calendar
Look at both the time and mileage requirements in your owner’s manual. A car-care visit is not an oil change, a repair or the manufacturer’s scheduled service. Ford’s storage guidance, for example, includes preparation and checks for extended storage; use the version for your own vehicle and ask your workshop about anything due during your absence.
Agree parking and access
We serve Limassol, Paphos, Nicosia and Larnaca. Confirm the exact parking address and postcode, who holds the keys and how the team can reach the car. Discuss charger access if relevant. Share sensitive access information through the agreed private channel, rather than putting passwords or alarm codes into a public enquiry form.
Record a useful starting point
Tell the team about existing damage, warning lights, battery difficulties and anything already awaiting repair. Initial photographs and odometer readings provide context for later reports. Let the team know if a workshop has given specific instructions or advised that the car should not be driven.
Link your customer account
After Check My Car, save your booking reference. Register or sign in to My Car using the same email, then select Link a website booking and paste the reference. The team confirms the quote and arrangements before activating your care schedule. The website does not take a payment when you send the request.
Keep your return date current
Monthly visits follow your departure-date anniversary, with visits less than 14 days before return excluded. Change your return date in My Car if your travel plans move. Ask for a wash or detail if wanted; the team schedules it close to handover and confirms payment before the work.
Before you drive home
Read the latest report and messages. Resolve any reported safety concern with the team or a qualified workshop before driving. Regular records help you stay informed, but they are not a roadworthiness certificate or a guarantee against a later fault.
General guidance. Your vehicle’s owner’s manual and advice from a qualified workshop take priority. Manufacturer examples are not endorsements of Expat Auto Care.
